At 71 inches long you can set three places per side or two per side plus the ends. Bellamy and Alba ship with six chairs; Vera ships with four, leaving room to add two.
Better in narrow rooms
The tapered ends give back 8 to 12 inches of walking space at each end compared with a rectangular table of the same length. In a corridor-shaped dining area that is the difference between passing through and turning sideways.
Twin pedestals or one
Nora and Vera use two pedestals set inside the ends, so the corner seats stay clear. Bellamy uses a single fluted pedestal, which leaves the whole underside open.
Table only, or table with chairs
Nora Oval is sold as the table on its own, so you can pair it with the dining chairs you prefer.
